Top picks
The 1975
Whatever your thoughts on The 1975, there’s no denying their unwavering confidence, nor the fact it’s become a self-fulfilling prophecy, resulting in a fiercely loyal fanbase and a raft of positive press. For our part, we’re pretty impressed, not least by the fact the four-piece have taken a 17-track opus tackling drug addiction and depression to the top of the charts. Don’t miss your chance to see the pop-rockers perform live – frontman Matty Healy will be doing his best Michael Hutchence impression over on the Other Stage on Saturday.
LCD Soundsystem
Five years since they bade fans a spectacular farewell at Madison Square Gardens, LCD Soundsystem have reformed to write new material and perform a series of reunion shows. Glastonbury will be the New York dance-punks’ first UK date, and if recent gigs at Primavera and Coachella are anything to go by, Sunday’s performance on the Other Stage will be very special indeed. Save some energy to dance yrself clean to a greatest hits set featuring ‘Losing My Edge’ and the rest, and to hold your nearest and dearest close during euphoric set-closer ‘All My Friends’.
Christine and the Queens
Already an established star in her native France, Héloïse Letissier is currently conquering the rest of the world with the bilingual electro-pop on her debut album, Chaleur Humaine. Excellent as she unequivocally is on record, it’s in the live arena that Letissier really impresses, executing jaw-dropping choreography that’s equal parts inspired by Michael Jackson and cult dance hero Pina Bausch. Head to her Friday afternoon Other Stage set and prepare to be wowed by an unbeatable combination of killer moves and pin-sharp songwriting.

More from the line-up
- My feet are still on the ground; I’m not flying yet!
- It was a big period of transformation for me: of coming out of a difficult time into a time of joy and rediscovery.
- When musicians say they don’t care what other people think, that’s bullsh*t. People saying nice things about what you’ve created is the best thing in the world.
