NME Awards 2015
See the winners
Perhaps the very antithesis of the BRITs’ polished pop and perfect choreography, the NME Awards are usually dominated by Britain’s biggest guitar bands (most of whom have necked the table wine on arrival, as an apéritif to the hard stuff). This year's ceremony was no exception, seeing Kasabian and Royal Blood triumph in the key categories. Preview and download music from all the nominees below.

Suede
Superimposed over a Union Jack and emblazoned with the tagline “Yanks Go Home”, Brett Anderson was unwittingly elected as the poster boy of Britpop by Select magazine back in 1993. A couple of line-up changes, six studio albums and a wealth of incredible B-sides on, Suede have proven they were worth so much more than the pigeon-holing they were subject to, and have left an indelible, glitter-stained mark on the face of British indie.
Philip Hall Radar Award
Dean Blunt
Rough Trade Records' Dean Blunt has been named winner of this year's Philip Hall Radar Award. Voted for by staff, the prize recognises the most ground-breaking, up-and-coming musicians, and has previously been awarded to Fat White Family, The Child Of Lov and Azealia Banks. Blunt first came to prominence in Hype Williams with Inga Copeland, and has since released a string of excellent albums, which vary wildly in style and focus. A true sonic pioneer.
